Sujani comes from “Su” (easy) and “Jani” (birth). It is a centuries-old embroidery tradition from Bihar, where mothers lovingly stitched soft quilts for their newborns. Recognised with a Geographical Indication (GI) tag by the Government of India, Sujani represents a living legacy of Indian craftsmanship.
